Missoula's Most Endangered Historic Sites Application

Nominate a building or site to be considered for inclusion in PHM's list of Eleven Most Endangered Sites:
2015 Application

Preserve Historic Missoula periodically develops a list of places in the Missoula area that our board members consider to be historically important but threatened by a variety of forces. The list is not intended to criticize public entities or private owners, but to stimulate a community dialogue about the importance of our historic built environment and historic natural landscape and the impact of the losses of any of their significant elements. In the past, this dialogue has led to positive outcomes for many of the properties we have listed, as well as an enhanced awareness of the rich historic heritage that surrounds us.

In developing the latest Endangered List, PHM will consider any building, district, site, structure, or object whose historic features, characteristics, and/or significance may be endangered by natural causes, lack of maintenance, development, or remodeling/renovation.
